Product Description

1. Payoff and Straightener: The first component of the extrusion line is a payoff and straightener machine, which feeds the wire into the extrusion line at a constant tension and straightens any kinks or bends in the wire.

2. Preheater: The wire is then passed through a preheater to soften it and make it easier to extrude.

3. Extruder: The extruder is the heart of the extrusion line, where the wire is coated with insulation material. The extruder consists of a barrel and a screw, which heats and melts the insulation material and then forces it through a die to form the desired shape and size.

4. Cooling Trough: After the wire is coated with insulation material, it is passed through a cooling trough to solidify the insulation layer.

5. Capstan: The wire is then passed through a capstan machine, which pulls the wire through the extrusion line at a constant speed.

6. Printer: If needed, a printer can be added to the extrusion line to print markings or logos onto the cable.

7. Take-up Machine: Finally, the wire is wound onto a spool or reel by a take-up machine.
