Φ50 FTTH (Fiber to the Home) drop cable production line is a specialized equipment used to manufacture fiber optic drop cables with a diameter of 50mm. These cables are used to connect homes or businesses to the larger fiber optic network and provide high-speed internet and other data services.
The Φ50 FTTH drop cable production line includes several components, including a fiber optic cable extruder, a cable drawing machine, a fiber optic buffer tube coloring machine, a fiber optic ribbon cable rewinding machine, a drop cable production line, and a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control system.
The fiber optic cable extruder is used to melt and extrude the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material, which is then drawn through a cable drawing machine to create the fiber optic cable. The cable drawing machine is designed to precisely control the diameter and other parameters of the cable, ensuring high-quality and consistent production.
The fiber optic buffer tube coloring machine is used to add color to the buffer tubes, which protect the fiber optic strands inside the cable. The fiber optic ribbon cable rewinding machine is used to wind the fiber optic ribbon cable onto a spool for further processing.
The drop cable production line is used to assemble the fiber optic cable and connectors into a drop cable that can be installed in a residential or commercial building. The drop cable typically includes a fiber optic connector on one end for connection to the larger fiber optic network and a connector on the other end for connection to the customer's equipment.
The PLC control system is used to monitor and control the production process, ensuring that the equipment is operating at optimal levels and that the produced cables meet the required specifications.
